Stannard chimes are hung so that each chime is struck in the precise location to achieve the desired sound. The musical notes played by the chime are Laser engraved on the hard wood wind catcher. Removable hangers slip out to wrap around tree branches or any closed support. Diamond Line, the indestructible fiber used to tether satellites, holds most of the Stannard chimes together.
